3/27/09: This week's pictures are of Belle & Roxy the Yorkies from Center Hill. Check out their new house-mate Scooter the dachshund on the classifieds page. He is free to a good home since their house is getting too full with four dogs.
3/19/09: Things have continued to be busy for the Critter Express. I groomed 7 dogs and a cat at Brinkley on Monday, 8 dogs at Joy on Tuesday, 3 dogs on Wednesday including Sammy the Great Pyrenees, and 9 dogs today at Hazen. I have 3 dogs to groom in the morning at Pallone's and 3 in the afternoon in Searcy. New to the Blog page I will be featuring one pet each week with a photo after their grooming. This week's pick is Cocoa the Shih-Poo from Joy.
3/11/09: My schedule is really beginning to fill up fast these days. I am almost completely booked for the next two weeks. This week has been busy so far. Monday I groomed two poodles at Pallone's and then went to Judsonia where I groomed Q-Tip the Chihuahua, a Lab and Cocker Spaniel, and Zoey the Shih Tzu. I finished the day up in Kennset with Maggie the Terrier mix and Lucy the Maltese. Tuesday was a lighter day since I had a doctors appointment. I only groomed Lucky the Maltese mix and Prissy the Sheltie at Beebe that afternoon. Today I started in Quitman with Chase the Lab mix and Lola the poodle and finished the day in Searcy with Max the Schnauzer, Cocoa the Poodle mix and Dudley the Yorkie. Here is my schedule for the rest of the week:

2/28/09: I sprained my ankle very badly at a horse show a week ago today. Unfortunately I was forced to cancel all of my grooming appointments Monday through Wednesday but I was able to get back to work on Thursday at the Grand Prairie Vet clinic in Hazen with the aid of a walking boot. That day I groomed Roscoe the Yorkie who was a first time client, Sam the Shih Tzu who has been a regular for a while now, a Schnauzer who had just had surgery by Dr. Jeff that morning to repair a broken leg, Max & Louis the Shih Tzus, and Mr. Terry Vail's two dogs Nipper and the newest addition to the family a Dachshund puppy. After being on my feet all day my ankle swelled back up so I decided to take it easy on Friday and only groomed one dog, Gizmo the Shih Tzu at Pallone's Vet Clinic here in Rose Bud. I plan to be back to my regular busy schedule by next week and I have some catching up to do and several appointments to reschedule after last week.
